Getting To Taniti
Most visitors arrive in Taniti by air, landing at our small island airport that welcomes propeller planes and small jets. While we're currently expanding the airport to accommodate larger aircraft in the future, getting here already feels like part of the adventure. For a more scenic arrival, a small cruise ship also docks at Yellow Leaf Bay once a week—offering a brief but beautiful sea route to the island.
Getting Around Taniti
Exploring Taniti is easy and flexible. Visitors can rent cars or scooters, catch a local taxi, or hop on one of the affordable shuttle buses that run between popular destinations like Taniti City, Merriton Landing, and the beaches around Yellow Leaf Bay. For the more adventurous, bicycles and guided walking tours offer a closer look at the island’s beauty—rainforests, mountain trails, and all.
